There are many goals we can have in life, but none is as important as what we want to accomplish for God's kingdom. So it is a good question when we ask ourselves, Where do we want to go with God? Our Lord once said, “According to your faith be it unto you” - so do we trust the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus to be above all else? If we can, we will surely have everything to gain. Surely we will be one step closer to understanding God's love, trusting in him rather than trying to cover up our own insecurities. Love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, which is how we must be, if our desire to go somewhere with God is genuine. God's people must be genuine; they must be lovers of the truth and serve their Lord in truth with their whole heart. Let us order our conduct aright that we may see the salvation of God. God does not require of us things that he knows we would never be able to achieve - nevertheless we are asked to be perfect before God. How can we do this? By always seeking our God and walking in his light. Then we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. Amen.
