There is an almighty God, and he wants us to be his people who live and dwell with him. To do so, we have to abide by the laws of his holy kingdom; man's laws, customs, and rituals do not apply here. Only the things of God count, and these are the things that should excite us. When you live in a particular land, you have to abide by its laws, even more so in the kingdom of God. He has promised that he will dwell in us and walk in us, as we are the temple of the living God. So while there is a great need for sanctification, let the Lord be our fear and dread. God’s ways are higher than man's ways - what could we possibly have to lose? The widow gave all that she had because she trusted in God, not in man. We too should give out of love and with no small measure of faith, remembering the Lord’s words, “Give and it shall be given unto you.” Sadly there have been those that have erred from the faith, not being honest before God. Our Lord does not leave us in any doubt about how the love of money leads to many sorrows. He speaks to his people very clearly on this subject. Any church or ministry that is worthy to be called as such will always focus on the Lord Jesus Christ, not on money. It is the knowledge of him that will sustain us, and he has promised to supply all our need. The truly abundant life is the life with our Lord Jesus. Amen.

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Cor. 6:16)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
(Heb. 3:13)
Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry be not blamed: But in all things presenting ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, (2 Cor. 6:3-4)
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph. 3:17-19)
Sunday 14.08.2011 – Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts - dm
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Pet. 3:15)
For you rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. (Num. 27:14)
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. (Is. 8:13)

Sunday 28.08.2011 – Erred from the faith - dm
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses. (1 Tim. 6:10-12)
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for dishonest gain, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. (1 Pet. 5:2-3)
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. (2 Cor. 3:5-6)
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Phil. 4:19-20)
